Business development manager

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Leading the sales efforts of a licensed payment provider's financial services, with a focus on open-banking and card acquiring, in the European, UK, and Canadian markets.
  • Revitalizing customer acquisition through proactive cold calling and prospecting strategies.
  • Arranging and coordinating meetings, as well as skillfully conducting negotiations with potential clients.
  • Providing comprehensive support to customers throughout the entire sales and post-sales process.
  • Attending exhibitions and industry events in Europe to foster business growth.
  • Compiling accurate and timely sales reports on a regular basis.

Key qualifications and experience required for this role include:

  • Experience in payments, e-commerce, banking, or financial IT solution areas.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully selling open-banking or card acquiring services to major international clients.
  • Fluent English, other languages are preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in negotiation techniques.
  • Availability to travel within Europe and the United Kingdom to participate in exhibitions and conferences.
